PATRICIA GAYLE McGOWAN Patricia Gayle McGowan, age 62 passed away February 2, 2000 in Grace Hospital after a four year battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her father Robert and mother Florence. She leaves to mourn her best friend of 28 years, Dorothy Dodie Bennett; her brother William (Rosalee) sister Michelle; nephews, Colby and Damon and families; her adopted family on Dodies side and her precious dog Yomi. Pat worked all her life as a para-legal until two years ago when she retired due to illness. She enjoyed travel, people and a few bubblies. The past ten years she devoted much of her time to the A.N.A.F. No. 1 receiving an appreciation medal for all her volunteer work and the deep friendship of all who knew her. Our meat draw lady brought laughter into our lives and touched us all. Pat loved life, home and family and was taken too soon. She will be missed so very much. Pat loved adoringly and was loved deeply in return. Pat, you will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place and as per Pats request, there will be no memorial service.
